The resort is
divided into two sections, totaling 283 ocean, marina and garden
view rooms. The Finisterra Section original buildings rest on
elaborate stone foundations surrounded by boulders. The multi story
Palapa Beach Club towers have a contemporary design and overlook the
pool complex and pacific beach. Waterfalls cascade over the rock
cliff between the two sections. An aerial walkway from the tower's
seventh floor connects the two sections.
Located in the
original section in low-rise buildings without elevators built into
the rock cliff. Configured with two double beds, stocked mini-bar,
tile bathroom with shower only. Most include balconies or patios
with varied views of the marina, city or garden.
All new
non-smoking rooms located on the marina side of the property. They
offer fantastic views of the city, marina and a free peak at the
Cabo Dolphin Center. Amenities include two queen beds or one king
(request only), stocked mini-bar, hairdryer, tile bathroom with
shower only and private balcony.
Junior Suite: Offering
spectacular views of the Marina, the city of San Lucas and opening
to the Sea of Cortez, these cliff-side junior suites offer spacious
sitting area, patios, tile floors, and numerous comfort driven
amenities.
Palapa Beach Club Suite:
These luxurious 600 square foot suites offer spectacular views of
the Pacific Ocean and front row seats of the evening’s setting sun.
Amenities include your own private patio, mini refrigerator bars,
marble bathrooms, tile floors and an intimate sitting area.
Front row
seats to the evening's setting sun, panoramic views of the
private beach and rolling waves of the Pacific Ocean. The
1,200 square foot suite has a king bed or two double beds (upon
request only) in the master bedroom, kitchen, dining and sitting
area with sleeper sofa. Amenities include a private patio or
balcony, hairdryer, marble bathroom with tub/shower combination
and tile floors.
The most
spectacular views in Cabo are offered from this 1,800 square foot
luxurious suite located on top of the Whale Watcher Bar. This suite
is perfect for entertaining with a large living room and kitchen/bar
area separating both bedrooms. Amenities include a Master Bedroom
with a king bed, Jacuzzi sauna, steam room and private veranda. The
second bedroom is also configured with a King bed, Jacuzzi and
private patio.

Our Palapita Events Center
is the perfect place for receptions, dinners and parties. Approximately
3,200 square feet, the Palapita is a glass-walled, circular enclosure near
our newest swimming pool. It offers a spectacular view of the majestic
Pacific Ocean, and a front row seat for the colors of Cabo’s spectacular
sunsets. Though not ideal for meetings requiring audio-visual oriented
presentations, the Palapita will seat 200 for dinner, and is second to none
as a location for a first-class Mexican Fiesta! |

Mexican Theme
The most traditional theme is a
Mexican theme. For an additional fee, the Hotel Finisterra can can
create a Mexican fiesta spiced up with a colorful Mexican décor. Mariachi
Bands and Mexican Trios are available at an hourly rate. To complete the
theme, folkloric dancers can be hired for a private show.

Beach Party
Another popular theme party is a
beach party. With the ocean crashing and the coals hot, a beach party pool
side at the Palapa Bar and Grill is the perfect way to end a great trip.
Volleyball tournaments can be scheduled as well as pool games. A DJ can be
hired to play your favorite hits through the night. |
Whale Watcher Bar
The Whale Watcher Bar offers a
spectacular view and is a great area for an informal reception with drinks
and hors d’oeuvres. During the right time of year you may even get the
chance to see the majestic whales on their annual pilgrimage. |
